I am completely psyched about making it to my first TTT post. Woo Hoo!!!
1. School has started up again and I am just thrilled. OK, I'm not! The hubby and I both take online courses and we both agree that this semester the professors have gone bonkers.
2. So my clothes have become to big to be worn in public. All of them! Bras and undies too. Just about the only thing that I can still wear are my socks. I don't need a whole new wardrobe because I have been picking up a few things here and there but I need to buy some more new things so i can feel comfortable getting rid of the old. I probably won't throw them away, just tuck them in a closet somewhere to compare later.
3. I NEED A SCALE!!! I have been advised to get one and I always said I wouldn't because I don't want to abuse it. However, now is the time that I change my mind. I thought I had lost a considerable amount of weight based on my belt and my pants loop. When I finally got on a scale it proved me wrong and I was devastated. It felt like I had gained weight as oppose to actually not losing at all.
4. I have a love hate/relationship with muscles. I love that they burn fat and I hate that they make my weight go up. Grrrr!
5. My many roles have taken me away from ME! I am a mother, wife, daughter, employee, student, PTA Vice President, and Learning Leader volunteer. I am many other things but these are my EVERYDAY duties. I never really get to do ME. Now I am all of these things because I want to be but they add so much stress to my life. I will now begin to seek out things that I enjoy doing minus the added stress.
6.I was spoiled by the NYC weather we had this past week. Yesterday I looked at the temperature and it was 64 degrees. Such a beautiful winter day!
7. Thinking about my previous statement.......I am now fearful of global warming, the end of the world in 2012, and any other strange things that I heard about the world coming to an end. What exactly is the world coming to?
8. My kids school is having a sumo wrestling night tonight and an I Love the 80's dress down today. I am pretty excited to see the kids get excited about their teachers rolling around in big sumo suits. My 4th grader and her classmates decided to throw their teacher a surprise birthday party tomorrow too so I am looking forward to my day.
9.I realized that I really don't have ten interesting things to say but I sure as ham, cheese, lettuce, tomato, little mayo, oil, vinegar, salt, and pepper, on a roll, gonna try to come up with something each week. OK sorry about the deli order but I'm really gonna dedicate more of ME to blogging.
10. This week went by pretty fast for me and I am looking forward to a SLOW weekend!
